BATS GENERAL INFORMATION

Beacons
The Model 4370A series of beacons are compatible with the BATS. They can be configured for Tran-
sponder or Responder operation. They typically output a 10ms discrete chirp signal. This means that
the composite signal is made up of a series of discrete frequencies.
External Sensors
The EdgeTech MRU (Motion Reference Unit) Model 4760B provides dynamic pitch and roll compensa-
tion for the BATS.
