Specifications
Press the EDIT key to enter Edit mode.
Use the MODULE keys to select the TOTAL
module.
The TOTAL module cursor LED flashes.
Use the PARAMETER keys to select Parameter
4 (Amp Sim).
Parameter 4 (Amp Sim) is used for switching the amp simulator
ON and OFF, and for selecting the mode.
Use the VALUE + /– keys to select the amp simulator
mode from among the following.
0: OFF
The amp simulator function is OFF.
1: COMBO
Simulates the sound of a 100 W combo amp.
2: BRIGHT COMBO
Simulates the sound made by a 120 W bright amp that
accentuates the high range.
3: STACK
Simulates the sound made by stacked amps consisting of four
speakers.
Press the EDIT key to return to Play mode.
• The amp simulator works in common for all patches. The amp
simulator setting remains the same even when patches are switched.
• If you turn off the power without storing the current setting, the value
for the previous setting will come up when the 3030 is turned on
again. If you want to store the current setting, select a patch from
one of the USER groups and store it. (See page 19.)

The 3030 contains an amp simulator independent of the effect modules included in the patches. If you use the
amp simulator, you will obtain realistic guitar amp sounds when monitoring with the headphones or audio system.
