Prevention
Wear protective gloves and eye/face protection. Keep away from heat, sparks, open flames
and hot surfaces. No smoking. Use explosion-proof electrical, ventilating, lighting and all
material-handling equipment. Use only non-sparking tools. Take precautionary measures
against static discharge. Keep container tightly closed. Use only in well-ventilated area. Do
not breathe vapor. Wash hands thoroughly after handling. Contaminated work clothing
should not be allowed out of the workplace.
Response
Get medical attention if you feel unwell. IF INHALED: Remove victim to fresh air and
keep at rest in a position comfortable for breathing. IF ON SKIN (or hair): Take off
immediately all contaminated clothing. Rinse skin with water or shower. IF ON SKIN:
Wash with plenty of soap and water. Take off contaminated clothing. If skin irritation or
rash occurs: Get medical attention. IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several
minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. If eye
irritation persists: Get medical attention.
