Advisory Defibrillation Parameters
The Advisory Defibrillation parameters control functions related to performing defibrillation
with an E Series unit in semiautomatic and advisory mode and include:
Energy Level: Shock 1
Energy Level: Shock 2
Energy Level: Shock 3
Auto Charge in Advisory Mode
Auto Analyze
Stacked Shocks
Display DO CPR Message
CPR Message After Shock
CPR Message After No Shock Advised
Duration of CPR Interval
Check Pulse
Restart Analysis After CPR
Check Patient Prompt
Enable Voice in Advisory Mode
Continual Check Patient Audio Prompt
Enable SCE
Post SCE Result on Display
Energy Level: Shock 1
This parameter allows you to select the energy level used for the first shock delivered by the
defibrillator when the unit is:
in semi-automatic or advisory mode and using pads
in Manual mode, using external paddles or pads, and Basic Auto Energy Escalation is set to
Yes
Energy Level: Shock 1 is the energy level to which the unit defaults when power is turned on
with external paddles or pads connected.
Values are as follows:
Energy Level: Shock 2
This parameter allows you to select the energy level used for the second shock delivered by the
defibrillator when the unit is:
in semi-automatic or advisory mode and using pads
in Manual mode, using external paddles or pads, and Basic Auto Energy Escalation is set to
Yes
Possible Values: 1-10, 15, 20, 30, 50, 70, 85, 100, 120, 150, and 200 J
Default: 120 J
