Note: Do not slam a Battery into a Charger because doing so may cause damage to the Battery’s
Connector.
Note: Both Batteries are mechanically keyed so that they can only be inserted in one orientation. Do
not force a Battery into a charging bay. If resistance is met, check for appropriate orientation,
and check to ensure that there are no obstructions to battery insertion.

2. The Multi-Chemistry Battery Charger automatically detects the presence of a Battery within 5
seconds.
3. The Multi-Chemistry Battery Charger’s status will be indicated on the control panel (see Figure 4-
3 and Table 4-1).
