1. Unplug the existing sump pump and separate
it from the discharge pipe. Remove the pump
from the sump basin.
2. Place the replacement Basement Sentry
system in the basin and connect it to the
existing discharge pipe.
3. Place a fully-charged Basement Sentry brand
battery in the battery box.
5. Attach the back-up pump, oat switch, AC
adapter and battery connections to the
controller. See instructions for WiFi setup.
6. Test the installation for leaks by running
water into the sump basin. The primary pump
should operate normally. See instructions for
additional testing procedures. Install a basin
cover and gasket on top of the basin.
