Whencleaningthesensoravoidusingsolventssuchasacetone.Always
calibrateaftercleaning.
Tocleanthesensor:
Iftheelectrodehasbecomecoatedwithoilorgrease,carefullywashthe
electrodeunderwarmtapwaterusingdish-washingdetergent.Rinsethe
sensorthoroughlywithcleantapwater.
Iftheaboveproceduredoesnotwork,soakthesensorinadiluted
hydrochloricacid(HCL)solutionfor10seconds.
Thiscanbepurchasedfromyourlocalpoolprofessionalormadeby
carefullyaddingone(1)partofHydrochloric(Muriatic)acidtoten(10)
partswaterinasuitablecontainer.ALWAYSADDACIDTOTHEWATER.
Aftersoaking,rinsethesensorthoroughlyincleantapwaterandre
calibratebeforeuse.
Iftheabovetwoproceduresfailtorestorethesensor,thesensorshould
bereplaced.

