(thiswillbedoneautomaticallybytheTRi-pHonceconnected).

IdealTAlevelrange:80-140partspermillion(PPM)
TotalAlkalinityisameasureofalkalinechemicalsinyourpoolandcanbe
usedasa“buffer”tocontrolpHlevels.
IfTAlevelsaretoolow,itmaystainpoolsurfacesandmakecontrollingpH
levelsdifcult.
IfTAlevelsaretoohigh,scalingmaybeevidentonpoolwallsandinthe
chlorinatorcells.
1. Toraisetotalalkalinity.AddpHbufferorstabilizer,accordingto
manufacturer’sinstructions.
2. Tolowertotalalkalinity.Addapproximately400mlofhydrochloricacid
daily.
3. Whentotalalkalinityhasstabilizedwithintheprescribedidealrange,
youmayneedtoadjustthepool’spH.

