The Daylight Saving Time is a widely used system of adjusting the official local time forward to save energy. The
uniform time adopted during the implementation of this system is known as the DLST. Typically clocks are adjusted
forward one hour in the summer to make people early to bed and early to rise so as to make full use of illumination
resources and save electricity. Clocks are adjusted backward in autumn. The specific DLST regulations vary with
countries.
