IMPORTANT:
CLEANING TIPS
Treat the xture gently! Regular cleaning will reduce the need for deep cleaning. For regular cleaning, turn off the light and wipe down the
xture with a clean lint-free cotton or microber cloth. Never spray cleaner directly onto the xture. Hand wash the glass with warm water and
mild detergent. Dry with a lint-free or microber cloth.
PREPARING FOR INSTALLATION
Remove all of the contents from the carton. See the important notes
above. Shut off the power at the circuit breaker and completely remove
the old xture from the ceiling, including the old mounting strap.
1. Takethemountingstrapassemblyfromthepartsbag.Mountingstrap(B)
containsseveralthreadedholes.Twoofthemountingscrews(A)shouldbe
attachedtomountingstrap(B)withhexnuts(D)inplace.Placemountingstrap
(B) overthejunctionboxandsecureinplacewithmountingscrews(E).Tighten
themountingscrews(E)securelywithascrewdriver.Pullhousewiresthrough
thecenterofmountingstrap(B).

3. Holdcanopy(F)uptomountingstrap(B).Lineuptheholesincanopy(F)withtheholesinmountingstrap(B)sothatmounting
screws(A)protrudefromtheholesinthecanopy(F).Screwdeconuts(G)ontotheexposedthreadsofmountingscrews(A)until
thecanopyissnugagainstthemountingstrapandceiling.
4. Liftglassshades(I)uptothesockets(H).Securetheglassshades(I)tothexturebyscrewingonsocketcap(J)overthe
socket.Theglassshadeshouldbesnugagainstthexturewiththeuseofthesocketcap(G),besurenottoovertighten.
Please note overtightening the socket cap will cause the glass shade to crack.
Installlightbulbs(notprovided)basedonthexture’sspecications.Donotexceedthemaximumwattage.
Yourinstallationisnowcomplete.Turnonthepowerandtestthexture.
CONNECTING THE WIRES
2. Haveanassistantsupportthexture’sweightwhilecompletingthewiring.
Refertothewiringdiagramandattachthexture’swirestothepowersupply
wiresfromthejunctionbox.ConnectHottoHot(blackorsmooth),Neutralto
Neutral(whiteorribbed),andGroundtoGround(greenorcopper).Twistthe
endsofthewirepairstogether,andthentwistonawireconnector.Makesure
alltwistsareinthesamedirection.Ifthereisnohousegroundwirecoming
fromthejunctionbox,locategroundscrew(C)onthemountingbracket/
mountingstrapandwrapthexture’sgroundwirearoundthegroundscrew.
Useascrewdrivertotightenthetopofgroundscrew(C)ontothewiresand
intothemountingbracket/mountingstrap.Tuckthewiresintothejunctionbox.
