READY-MIXED STUCCO PATCH
(Formerly BONDEX)
Technical Data Bulletin
Zinsser Stucco Patch is a ready to use formula for the repair of cracks, chips, and breaks in stucco, concrete or masonry
surfaces.
Properties:
Consistency: Paste
Coverage: Dependent upon depth and width of crack, hole or imperfection.
Tinting: N/A
Drying Time: 4-5 hours
Storage: Keep from freezing. Close container tightly
DIRECTIONS:
Surface Preparation: Area to be patched must be clean and free of any loose particles, powdery material and scaling paint. Prepare
surface by scrubbing vigorously with a wire brush.
Note: For extra adhesion, the area to be patched should be primed with a bonding primer.
Application: Apply with a putty knife, broad knife, trowel or other suitable tool, working material well into distressed areas, filling and
feathering edges. Deep fills greater than ½” require more than one application.
Finishing: If matching an existing stucco finish, allow the patch to “set” one-half hour and gently test the area with the finishing tool
such as a stipple brush, sponge or trowel. The patch surface may be moistened with a few drops of water to aid finishing. The patch, if
desired, may be primed and painted with a quality masonry paint. If material settles in container, mix thoroughly before use. If
material is too stiff, add 1 teaspoon of clean water and stir thoroughly.
CLEAN-UP:
Clean tools with warm water immediately after use.
CAUTIONS:
For exterior or interior use, apply only when temperature is above 50°F (10°C). Keep out of reach of children. Do not
take internally. If Ready-Mixed Stucco Patch is swallowed, drink plenty of water and consult your physician. If it gets into eyes or on
skin, flush with water.
Keep out of reach of children
