Emergency Overview: This material may cause eye, skin, nose, and throat irritation and may be

harmful if inhaled. This material is a paint stripper. It is a green colored liquid with a mild amine type

odor and flash pint greater than 200° F.

Potential Acute Health Effects:

Eye: May cause eye irritation. Direct contact with the liquid or exposure to vapors or mists may

cause stinging, tearing, redness, swelling, and eye damage.

Skin: May cause skin irritation. Prolonged or repeated contact may cause skin to become reddened, rough and dry due to the removal of natural oils and may result in dermatitis. May be harmful if absorbed through the skin. Ingestion: This material may be harmful if swallowed. Ingestion may cause gastrointestinal irritation, nausea, vomiting and diarrhea. Inhalation: Do not breathe vapor or spray mist Inhalation may cause respiratory tract irritation.

Section 6 Accidental Release Measures Clean Up Methods: Keep unnecessary people away. Dike and contain spill with inert material (sand, earth, etc.). Transfer liquid to containers for recovery or disposal, or absorb with absorbent materials and place into containers for disposal. Keep spill out of sewer and open bodies of water. Prevent runoff to sewers, streams or other bodies of water. Floors may be slippery; care should be exercised to avoid falls during clean up operations.
