Generic Type – Unique synthetic resin in an odorless solvent-based system for priming, sealing and blocking difficult interior
stains in occupied environments where solvent odor is a concern.

Recommended Uses – Apply to interior walls, ceilings, doors, trim, cabinets, paneling and related paintable surfaces.
ODORLESS bonds to gloss enamels and varnishes, hardboard, glass and tile. Resistant to high pH surfaces (up to 12.5) including;
plaster, poured concrete, concrete block, stucco and ‘hot’ joint/texture compounds. Seals porous surfaces so topcoats spread
further and present accurate sheen and color. Blocks difficult stains from fire and smoke damage, water damage and nicotine.
Interior Substrates – New or previously painted drywall, cured plaster, cement, poured concrete, concrete block, stucco,
wood (cedar, redwood, pine, fir, birch, oak and plywood), aluminum, iron, steel and galvanized metal, PVC, glossy laminates and
other interior surfaces.
Exterior Substrates – Not Recommended
Adhesion – A ‘bond coat’ primer that adheres tenaciously to a wide range of glossy and hard-to-paint surfaces – including:
glossy enamel paints & clear finishes, Formica
®
, Masonite
®
, PVC and ceramic tile – without tedious sanding or surface deglossing.
Sprayable – Produces an even elliptical pattern at 2500 P.S.I. through a .017” tip when sprayed with a ¾ gpm airless pump.
Atomization may be further optimized: bring product to room temp (70
o
F/20
o
C), shorten spray hose and/or increase diameter of
hose.
Stain Blocking – One coat of ODORLESS effectively blocks stains from water, nicotine, smoke, graffiti, crayon and pencil, and
prevents them from bleeding into the topcoat.
Bright White Finish – Dries to a dead-flat, bright white finish that doesn’t yellow over time. Block overhead water or nicotine
stains and leave unfinished for a long-lasting, bright white ceiling.
Fire Damage – Seals stains from water and smoke damage without strong odors making it a great for occupied environments.
Note: to ensure long term odor sealing, even on warm humid days, use ZINSSER B-I-N
®
shellac-base primer-sealer.
High pH Resistance – May be applied to high pH surfaces (up to 12.5) without bubbling, lifting or degrading due to high
alkalinity. Ideal for concrete, plaster & fast set joint/texture compounds.
Priming – Great leveling properties and a dead-flat finish make it ideal for priming new or previously painted interior surfaces.
Sealing – Seals drywall, wood, masonry, cured plaster and cheap ‘builders flats’ so topcoat paints have better coverage.
Enamel Undercoat – Easy-sand formula smooths readily to maximize the sheen and color of enamel topcoats.
Application – Ready to use--no dilution necessary. In most cases only one coat is necessary. Porous surfaces may require
two coats to properly seal. Prime entire surface for best results.
