quickly.
1. Stir paint thoroughly with a lifting motion to insure uniform color.
2. Prepare roller or brush by dampening it with water.
3. Brush a 3‖ or 4‖ border around the edge of the ceiling.
4. Start with the short dimension of the ceiling. Paint across one end of the room first, doing a strip wide enough to
suit your reach. Go back to the edge and paint another strip parallel to the first working gradually over the entire
length of the room.
Dry Time – At suggested temperatures (between 50-90
◦
F/10-32
◦
C), ZINSSER Ceiling Paint dries in 1 hour or less.
Clean Up and Care for the Painted Ceiling - Clean hands and application tools with warm, soapy water. Wipe up
spills immediately with clean damp cloth. Painted surface may be washed after 30 days with mild detergent and cellulose
sponge. DO NOT USE HARSH ABRASIVE CLEANERS. Rewetting the dry paint film before 30 days may cause the pink cast
to reappear. This will dissipate with drying. After 30 days cure time the condition should not reoccur upon rewetting.
Storage and Disposal – Keep container closed when not in use. Do not transfer contents to other containers for
storage or disposal. Dispose of contaminated absorbent, container and/or unused contents in accordance with local, state
and federal regulations.
Limitations
ZINSSER Ceiling Paint is not intended for application to floors or walls or any surface prone to water immersion or
prolonged contact with water including shower enclosures, saunas or steam rooms. Not recommended for use in HVAC
duct work.
Precautions
CAUTION! Do not get in eyes. In case of eye contact, flush eyes with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. Do not
take internally. If swallowed, calla physician or Poison Control Center. Do not breathe vapors or spray mist. Ensure good
cross ventilation during application and drying. If you experience difficulty in breathing, eye watering, headache, or
dizziness, increase fresh air, wear an appropriate, properly fitted (NIOSH Approved) respirator; or leave the area to obtain
fresh air. Avoid contact with skin and clothing. Wash thoroughly after handling.
WARNING: This product contains a chemical known to the state of California to cause cancer and birth defects, or other
reproductive harm. Keep container closed when not in use.
Storage
To prevent product from skinning over, close container after each use. Keep lid tightly closed during storage. Protect from
freezing. If contents freeze, thaw to room temperature before use.

This product is warranted for your complete satisfaction for as long as you reside in your home. This warranty covers
paint that is applied to a properly prepared surface in accordance with label directions. It excludes failure due to
deterioration of the underlying surface, structural movement or structural defects or failure of previous paint. Directions
are as complete as possible but can not encompass all conditions, applications, and/or surfaces beyond manufacture’s
control. The contents are warranted to be free of defects for two years from date of manufacture. If this product is found
to be defective, upon its inspection by our representative, Rust-Oleum will it its option, either furnish an equivalent
amount of new product or refund the purchase to the original purchaser of this product upon proof of purchase. This
warranty excludes labor or cost of labor for the removal of this product or any other product, the repair or the
replacement of substrates to which this product is applied or the application of the replacement product and any
