newspapers around the work area in case of drips and
spills. Protect carpeting, furniture and porous ceilings
before application. Protect eyes and skin. Wear safety
goggles and chemical resistant gloves.
PRODUCT APPLICATION (cont.) .
APPLICATION
Note: Ensure good cross ventilation during application.
Wear a NIOSH approved respirator when spraying.
If top layer does not peel off easily, score with Paper
Tiger
®
to allow DIF to penetrate. The more holes, the
better the penetration. Spray on DIF with a garden-type
sprayer, or apply with a sponge or roller. (Do not use a
fine mist sprayer). Wait 15 minutes. Repeat the
application. Rewet a small section and scrape off loose
wallpaper. Use the Paper Scraper™ to easily remove
wallpaper without gouging the wall. To remove residual
adhesive, reapply DIF, wait 15 minutes, scrape or sponge
off. Rinse with clean water.
Note: Borders that are difficult to remove may have been
hung with a non-water soluble adhesive and may require
prolonged soaking and scraping.
KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN.
SPILLAGE
Open container carefully and close after each use. If
spilled, contain spilled material and remove with an inert
absorbent. Dispose of contaminated absorbent, container
and unused contents in accordance with local, state and
federal regulations. Clean up rags, papers and waste
promptly.
CLEAN-UP
Clean tools and equipment with soap and water.
