Recommended Uses:
Zinsser Drywall Primer is ideal for sealing new drywall. It
dries quickly with low odor. Zinsser Drywall Primer wo
raise the nap on new drywall and seals the surface for painting
in just one hour. Apply with any pad, brush, roller or, sprayer.
Use to seal in drywall and tape joints. Sands easily for a smooth
surface to apply finish paints. Use a high build, high resin
content Zinsser Primer Sealer under low-sheen wall paints for
maximum holdout.
Surface Preparation:
Drywall should be clean, dry, sound and free of excessive dust,
dirt, grime, grease, oil, wax, mildew, wallpaper adhesive or any
contamination that might interfere with adhesion. Kill and
remove any mildew.
Application:
Shake or stir before using. Brush, roll or spray. Follow spray
equipment manufacturer instructions. Airless spraying -  -
 tip at 2000 2500 P.S.I. If thinning is required add no
more than 10 oz. of clean water per gallon and apply a second
coat of sealer. Apply between 50
F and 90
F, RH <85 %.
Coverage:
Approximately 400 sq. ft. per gallon depending upon application
method and surface porosity.
Dry Time:
Approximately 30 minutes to touch, 1 hour to sand and recoat.
Cleanup: Dry Time:
Warm water and liquid detergent. Wipe up splatters before they
dry. Follow equipment manu direction to clean spray
equipment.
