2 Connect power
a Remove the 7-wire battery alarm connector on the battery backup
unit (BBU), then replace the 7-wire battery alarm connector with the
2-wire battery backup board shipped with the zNID.
b Connect the battery wires from the zNID to the BBU.
Make sure that the red wire is connected to “Vo +” and the white wire
is connected to “Vo –”. If not an APC model, be sure to connect the
correct wires to the + and - on the BBU.
c Power up the BBU by plugging in the AC power.
