Restarting and Resetting the Switch, Factory Defaults

Command Line

Important:

When you change the configuration, always allow a few seconds for the Switch to process the change. If

you turn the Switch off immediately, you could lose the new settings.

You must type: >reset after changing the Switch's IP address or subnet mask to have these changes take

effect.

To erase all configuration settings and restore all factory defaults, type: >reset system.2.

To power down the Switch before unplugging it, type: >shutdown3.
