>show version displays the switch's hardware and software versions, system name,

SNMP IP, mask and gateway. This information is helpful when troubleshooting or upgrading

new software.

Example: >show version

>shutdown shuts down the switch

Example: >shutdown

>tftp <ip_address> <filename> upgrades firmware

<Ip_address> is the IP address of the TFTP server

<filename> is the name of the firmware upgrade file

Example: >tftp 192.23.3.16 r1_15_11
