Mount Your Camera Ceiling Mount You may adopt ceiling mount or wall mount as needed. Prepare hardware accessories by yourself. The following part takes ceiling mount as an example. Wall mount is similar to ceiling mount and therefore is omitted here. Make sure that the wall is capable of supporting the weight of the camera. 1. Install SD card (optional). Open the slot cover Insert the SD card along the arrow direction 2. Uninstall the adapter plate.
Rotate counterclockwise OPEN LOCK Adapter plate 3. Attach the sticker. Attach the sticker to the desired mounting place. 4. Fix the adapter plate to the ceiling. Knock expansion bolts into holes, and fix the plate to the ceiling with screws. Make sure that FRONT on the plate is in monitoring direction.
5. Install the camera. Secure the camera to the adapter, align FRONT on the plate with the gap between OPEN and LOCK on the camera, rotate the camera counterclockwise until it’s fastened. Lead the cable through the side slot opening on the camera to secure the cable, so that you may avoid opening a hole on the ceiling.
Disconnect from power before intalling or uninstalling Micro SD card. Otherwise, the device or the Micro SD card might be damaged. Install the ActiveX at your first login. When the installation of the ActiveX is completed, open your IE to log in. For your first login with Windows 7, if the system does not prompt you to install ActiveX, follow these steps to turn off UAC: click the Start button, and then click Control Panel. In the search box, type uac, and then click Change User Account Control Settings. Move the slider to the Never Notify position, and then click OK. After UAC is turned off, log in again.
