5.5.5.3 Abandoned Object
An alarm will be triggered when the selected target in the monitoring scene stays in the screen
for more than the defined time.
Pedestrians or vehicles that stay for too long would be regarded as abandoned objects. To
filter out such alarms, you can use
Target filter
. In addition, the duration can be properly
extended to avoid false alarm due to a short stay of people.
Applicable scenes: Scenes with sparse targets, no obvious and frequent light changes. For
scenes with intensive targets or too many obstacles, missed alarms would increase; for
scenes in which too many people stay, false alarms would increase. Select detection areas
with simple texture, because this function is not applicable to scenes with complex texture.
