Local Server
The Broadband DSL/Cable Wireless Router offers support
for hosting servers on your private network that can be
accessed from the public Internet. While the addresses on
the Broadband DSL/Cable Wireless Router are not directly
accessible by a computer on the Internet, the Broadband
DSL/Cable Wireless Router allows for selective access by
mapping incoming access requests for a particular service to
a designated host that can process requests for a specific
Internet service on your LAN.
1. Click Advanced Setup in the left-column. The
sub-menus then appear.
2. Click Local Server, and the box below will then
appear.
3. Select TCP or UDP.
4. Fill in the External Port number.
5. Fill in the Physical IP Address of the LAN PC
you want.
