DIY Windscreen Install

Fig 2. Remove both mirrors. Be careful not to drop

the mirrors! Remove Phillips head screw that’s hold-

ing the windscreen, remove wellnuts by pulling them

out. See FIG2.

Helpful hints: Use metric tools, clean han ds, put the bike on a sta nd. To avoid damage do not pry on the screen excessively.

Remove 2 short allen fastener FIG5 Fig 4. Fig 5. On the same plastic fairing, remove 2 black Looking from the upper inside fairing. Remove total of 4 screws, and take note of the different thread pitches. (For Both Sides) short allen fastener located on the bottom of the instrument cluster.

Remove instrument panel by pulling it apart from the fairing frame. The wire harness needs to be disconnected before fully removing. USE CAUTION TO NOT OVER PULL!!! Bottom Wellnuts FIG 9 Remove allen fastener Fig 9. Remove 2 allen fastener at the bottom wind- Start from the tail ends screen, viewing from the inside fairing.

Remove all 4 phillips screw, located behind the inner fairing. See FIG10. Pull down Lift up towards you FIG11 Fig 11. Prepare to remove windscreen. Hold the Fig 12. To Install Windscreen. windscreen top and bottom as shown. First lift bottom of windscreen up towards you. While pulling top of screen towards the bike tank.
