13.0 - FAULTS
The panel continuously monitors hardware, battery life and connections
across the system. If a fault is found, it will be displayed on the panel
screen, the buzzer will sound and the common fault LED will be
illuminated. The  rst line shows the event number, followed by the zone
number and the type of fault. The second line details the type of device
and the device number. The third line displays any device location text (if
programmed).
13.1 – Device Faults
BATT LOW The battery in the device is nearly  at. The device will have 60 days of active life
remaining. To ensure the safe working of the system, the battery pack should be
replaced within the next 30 days.
BATT FAULT The battery voltage has dropped below the recommended level and should be
replaced immediately.
I/P OC An input has gone open circuit.
I/P SC An input has short circuited.
INT FAULT The device has an internal fault.
REMOVAL The device has been removed from its base.
TYPE ERROR The device reporting to the panel does not match the device information stored on
the panel.
TX/RX FAULT Transceiver fault.
VERIFY FAULT Panel has lost communication with a device.
13.2 – Panel Faults
BATTERY FAULT There is a problem with the standby battery.
CHARGER FAULT The power supply cannot charge the standby battery.
COMMS FAULT Panel has lost communication with another panel on the system.
CONFIG FAULT Memory CRC fault.
DISPLAY FAULT Display PCB fault.
INTERFERENCE Radio interference has caused a loss of signal.
INTERNAL FAULT There is a hardware problem within the panel.
LCD FAULT LCD module fault.
MAINS FAIL Loss of mains power.
MEMORY FAULT Problem writing to memory.
OPEN CCT The panel input/output has an open circuit.
PAGER FAULT Panel has lost communication with a pager on the system.
PSU FAULT PSU is not connected.
RESET PROC FAULT Main processor reset, usually caused by power being taken away.
RESISTANCE FAULT High battery resistance, as a result the panel will not attempt charging.
SHORT CCT The panel input/output has a short circuit.
SIM CARD FAULT There is a problem with the memory card. Check it is well seated.
SYSTEM FAULT Panel crash or corrupt memory.
TX/RX FAULT Transceiver system fault.
TX/RX MODULE FAULT Fault with the transceiver module.
