Swisson X-RC 100 DMX Recorder
Swisson’s X-RC 100 DMX Recorder offers
exact 100% recording and playback of
complex lighting movements and sequences. All shapes, such
as circles and loops will replay exactly as programmed. Four
different DMX sequences can be selected through memory
buttons. Sequences can be programmed from any lighting
console and played back at the touch of a button. Use the
X-RC as a back-up to your lighting console or a stand-alone
device. The X-RC operates using DMX or any of six external
contacts.

A compact optical isolator and line
splitter, the GAM Opto-Iso optically
isolates control signal from power
surges and shorts. The unit splits
output signal, looping one side
directly and optically isolating the
other side. The Opto-Iso can be
used to isolate auxiliary equipment to
prevent feedback.

GAM Test DMX
Use the GAM Test DMX to check for
the presence of DMX signal from
any control console. This handy unit
can also be used to check cables
for continuity and shorts. Battery
operated, the easy-to-read LED display
helps spot problems quickly.

GAM Command
The GAM Command hand-held DMX
control allows the operator to step
through each dimmer for lamp check
by hitting the “next” button, call up any
dimmer at any percentage and/or fade
up or down. It can call up randomly
selected groups of dimmers to switch
back and forth between individual
dimmers and the group when focusing. “Preheating” allows
for minimal lament stress during lamp check or focus. Ideal
as a battery powered backup tool and tester, it checks for
DMX signal, provides signal for bench testing xtures and can
actually focus a show when the control console is unavailable.

software to plan
your lighting,
use WYSIWYG’s
integrated tools
and enter data
just once. Enter plot data into WYSIWYG Report by adding
electrics, xtures and focus positions into a database, so you
can sort and print schedules and reports. Or you can choose
to begin in the graphical environment of WYSIWYG Design
and allow the paperwork to form itself as you draft your plot in
2D and 3D simultaneously.
With the addition of a simulation component, WYSIWYG
Perform is an end-to-end solution. 3D CAD, paperwork,
rendering, and pre-visualization are integrated into one
sophisticated tool. A DMX console or compatible ofine editor
can be connected to the computer and WYSIWYG Perform
will simulate the exact effect of the console’s/editor’s output
in real time.
WYSIWYG Network encompasses the entire product range of
the WYSIWYG family of software products. Users can create
their productions in 2D or 3D along with all of the necessary
paperwork; pre-cue entire shows in real-time; access a
comprehensive library of xtures; and create photo-realistic
renderings of their lighting looks. This special WYSIWYG
package allows you to run as many licenses as you require of
WYSIWYG Report, Design, or Perform all with the use of a
single network dongle. WYSIWYG Network can be customized
to run a combination of these products simultaneously over a
single network.
WYSIWYG Learn includes the WYSIWYG software and a
20 hour on-site installation and training session. WYSIWYG
training is mandatory for Educational Institutions without
any previous WYSIWYG training. This training is delivered
by Authorized WYSIWYG Trainers (AWT). Training includes
usage training as well as a suggested curriculum for classes,
projects, etc.

Paperwork System
Lighting Paperwork System is a
set of software products focused
on streamlining the paperwork
and information used when designing and implementing
entertainment lighting. LPS uses an innovative display system
that signicantly speeds up the creation of lighting paperwork
and using the paperwork information during hang, focus, and
tech rehearsals. LPS uses a base set of ten industry standard
paperwork layouts, and the user can dene any number of
more specialized layouts. Users can view the paperwork in
multiple layouts simultaneously. Included with LPS is a library
of xtures, colors, templates and lighting supply companies at
the users ngertips, inside one application.
If your venue has a repertory schedule or a house hang, LPS
is a powerful tool. One of the core concepts to LPS is the idea
of “light plots” and “shows”. Contained within an LPS le, users
can have as many shows using the same set of xtures with
different colors, focus, or patch. Any aspect of the xture can
be changed from show to show, except hanging position. LPS
can be used to create show changes reports highlighting the
differences between two different focuses. If one show uses
a particular xture and the next doesn’t LPS can account for
that too.
