Usin g Scan
Cur re n t se ssion scan
When heart rate is on, a press
and r elease of SCAN in any
m ain screen st arts a scan
thr ough t he m axim um, av erage
and m inim um heart r ates (3
seconds for each) since heart
rate was switched on.
A press and release of SCAN
during t he scan takes you back
to t he m ain scr een you wer e in.

I n any m ain screen, a pr ess
and r elease of SCAN starts a
single scan thr ough m axim um ,
average and m inim um heart
rate for the prev ious session.
This is st ored in m em or y, and
cleared aut omatically when
heart rate is next swit ched on.
The following functions are
featur ed in Fusion 3 0 .
Usin g Tim e in Zone ( TiZ)
Press M OD E until the TiZ icon
appear s.
Time in Zone is a heart rat e
contr olled feat ure that displays
the am ount of tim e you have
spent in your heart zone.
Typically, exer cise pr ogram mes
com prise a warm -up, workout
for a specified tim e (in a zone)
and cool down. The TiZ feat ur e
can be used to show the tim e
in your zone as you actually
workout.
I f you go abov e or below your
zone, the tim er will st op until
you ar e back in your zone.

Press M OD E until the Ca l icon
appear s.
The calorie counter st arts
automat ically once hear t r ate is
tur ned on.
To reset calories to zero, pr ess
and hold ST./ FW D unt il t he
display shows zero.
Note: if you just want t he
calories for your actual
workout, r eset j ust as you
begin the session.
