Maintenance ■ GEARCASE LUBRICATION With the exception of oil leaks or contamination, the RedMax Sweeper's oil filled gearcase is designed to last the life of the machine under normal use: • It is not necessary to add oil or to "top off" the gearcase under normal operating conditions. • For continuous heavy-duty applications, (such as where the machine will be stopped only during refueling), RedMax recommends replacing RedMax Sweeper gearcase oil every 40 hours of operation.

Maintenance IMPORTANT • Use only Mobil SHC 634 Synthetic Gear Oil. • Do not mix other oils ar additives with the RedMax Sweeper Gearcase Oil. • Do not disturb the sealed end plug or bolt on the gearcase (leakage may occur). • Do not use the RedMax Sweeper if oil is leaking from the gearcase. Return the machine to the dealer for repairs. WARNING Make sure that the engine has stopped and is cool before performing any service to the machine.
