3.2.6 CONSUMPTION MONITOR OBJECTS
Figure 23 Consumption Monitor Objects (Main Configuration)
This screen contains six checkboxes, each of which permits enabling or disabling one
communication channelthat may be used for bus reception of consumption reports.
Each channel can be set to monitor energy or water/gas consumption.
Every enabled channel implements four communication objects:
[Consumption x] Power / Flow: 2-byte object to be linked to external objects
reporting power or water/gas flow measurements, depending on the
consumption type.
[Consumption x] Energy / Volume: 4-byte object to be linked to external
objects reporting energy consumption measurements or water/gas volume,
depending on the consumption type.
[Consumption x] CO2: 2-byte object to be linked to external objects
reporting CO
2
volume measurements.
[Consumption x] Cost: 2-byte object to be linked to external objects that
express, as floating point values, the cost of the consumption, in terms of the
local currency.
So, when any of the six channels is enabled, the four communication objects
corresponding to that channel will show up.
For further information about these objects and about power consumption monitoring in
Z41, please refer to epigraph c) in section 3.4.2.5.
