cable system, to receive Cinemax you would have
to "assign" Channel 16 on the Listed TV Channels
number 45 line. (See examples above.) If several
different cable companies service your local
broadcast area, each cable company's assigned
q,"v"channel numbers may be different for each
cable company. The VCR cannot be programmed
at the factory with the multitude of cable
companys' TV channels for a given local broad-
cast area; you have to determine and enter these
cable company's TV assigned channel numbers
manually during the Channel Mapping Proce-
dure. Use the worksheet provided on the next
page.
This will complete the VCR Plus Setup Proce-
€lure. You are now ready to record programs
using VCR Pluscodes. (See Page 10-1.)
Notes:
If you entered 99 for you_-MFR number you will
have to manually select each channel you wish to
record at the cable box..
If you move to a different location, a different
broadcast area, do the Channel Mapping proce-
dure over.
If you do not do the Channel Map procedure the
broadcast you record may be from a different sta-
tion than the one you intended.
To change Channel Mapping information in the
VCR's memory press OH MAP, select 2-CH Map
Review, make the necessary adjustments.
