PIP ffi Picture-In-Picture
Think of PIP as a mini TVscreen superimposed onto your main TVscreen
YOUR PICTURE-IN-PICTURE FEATURE
The Picture-In-Picture (PIP) function at[owsyou to put a smaller
picture, called the "inset," on the bigger screen,or the "main"
picture.
NormatLyyou would need someother piece of equipment, tike a
MCR,to act as a tuner to receive and dlsp[aya secondchannel at
the sametime. Your Entertainment Machine etiminates that need
by giving you two tuners on one TV. PIP is atways available, no
matter what equipment you have.
Don'twant to miss any of the big game, but hate
commercials?Just put the gamein the PIPinset, and surfyour
favorite channelsusing the main picture.
WORKINGWITH PIP

a sourceto take its imagefrom. Set the main screensourceto
Antenna/Cable,then set the PIP sourceto Antenna/Cable,as an
example. This can be adjusted under the Sourcemenu(see page

PIP can be used in any picture mode. Put Antenna/Cablein the
inset white you watch a tape. Attachedto Video 1, have a DVD
discgoingin the PIP inset while you watcha tape on the main
