For example , if you have inserted a DVD that is coded with authorisation class 7 (NC 17) or 8 (Adult)
and you have selected authorisation classes 1 to 6, a message appears and the viewer must enter a
password. Parts of a DVD – certain scenes, for example – may also be encoded with an authorisation
class or a range of authorisation classes.
 You have to enter the password to change the authorisation class.
Password
With this option a password can be entered so as to restrict access to the player by others.
 To change the password, confirm the Change item. A new menu opens:
Old Password: Enter the existing password with the number keys on the remote control. It comprises
exactly four digits. If no password has been entered, the default password is valid: 1234.
– The next entry field becomes active when you enter the correct password.
New Password: Enter a four-digit password using the number keys on the remote control. The bar
moves to the next field.
Confirm PW: Enter the four-digit number again.
 Press
ENTER to confirm the new password.
If you forget the new password, enter the master password 1369.
Default
Here you can reset all menu settings to the default settings.
