Channel delay
If you connect separate loudspeakers they should ideally be set up in a circle (refer to left side of the dia-
gram). If this is not possible you can compensate for differences in the circle shape here.
In the example below (see the right side of the illustration) the left and rear left loudspeakers are moved
by 50 cm and by 40 cm for the rear right loudspeakers.
Use the navigation button
to enter the graphical fields next to the Channel Delay entry. Select
one of the loudspeakers by pressing
or . Using the or buttons to increase or reduce the value
in units of 10 cm. The maximum distance that can be set between speakers is 600 cm. Confirm with
ENTER and exit the menu with .
The circle is defined by the front loudspeakers. That is why you cannot select the front loudspeakers.
Equalizer Setting
EQ Type: You can make the following audio pre-settings under EQ Typ if you want to adjust the
sound with the aid of the equalizer: Linear, Rock, Pop, Live, Dance, Techno, Classic,
Soft. The sound will be replayed unchanged if you select the Linear point.
Bass Boost, Super Bass: You will amplify the bass in these Menus. Select On, to activate the
bass amplification. The sound will be replayed directly unchanged with Off.
Treble Boost: The treble sound will be amplified with this setting. Select On, to activate the treble
amplification. The sound will be replayed directly without change with Off.
3D processing
PRO LOGIC II: You will have the comprehensive possible settings of Pro Logic II here. If you do
not have surround sound, it can be simulated virtually with it. Set the PRO LOGIC II function to
Off, if you are replaying sound through an audio or a surround amplifier.
Hall mode: The sound can be provided with an additional reverberation here. You can choose
between the following options: Concert hall, living room, hall, bathroom, caverns, stadium and
church. Set the Hall mode function to Off if you are replaying the sound through an audio or sur-
round amplifier or do not want to introduce any additional reverberation.
