3D sound
You can achieve a 3D or surround effect for CDs that are coded in Dolby Pro Logic,
Dolby Digital or dts formats if two loudspeakers are connected.
Press the
3D button repeatedly to call up one of the following sound effects: Sur-
round: Rock > Pop > Live > Dance > Techno > Classic > Soft > Off.
Do not use the functions
if more than two loudspeakers are connected,
if you are using coaxial or optical digital out for digital sound,
if a surround effect is switched on in one of the connected units.
Audio Mode (audio CDs only)
Press the AUDIO button repeatedly to select one of the following playback modes:
Mono left, Mono right , Mix-Mono und Stereo.
Depending on the disk other messages may also be displayed.
TITLE MENU, DVD MENU
DVD menus
DVDs usually have one or more menus stored on them and you can use these
to navigate through the DVD. The names of these menus depend on the DVD;
they may be called "DVD menu", "Disc menu", "Main menu", "Title menu",
"Root menu" or "Master menu".
You DVD player menu (SETUP menu) can be called up with the SETUP
button.
You can call up the menus stored on the DVD using the
TITLE and DVD
MENU
buttons.
You navigate to the items in the DVD menu using the navigation keys.
Confirm each entry with
ENTER.
NOTICE!
Please note that the menus that are available when you press a button will depend on the
DVD. E. g. some DVDs only have one menu that appears for the two call-up methods.
AUDIO and SUBTITLE MENU
If other languages are available on the DVD this is the quickest method of selecting them.
NOTICE!
Please note, however, that this function has not been implemented on many DVDs.
Select audio language
Press AUDIO repeatedly to select another available language. The change is
made immediately and does not need to be confirmed.
Select sub-title language
Press the SUBTITLE key repeatedly to select another sub-title language stored
on the DVD. The change is made immediately and does not need to be con-
firmed.
The message disappears after a few seconds.
