Select section – DIGEST (DVD and VCD)
You can use the DIGEST function with the help of image preview to navigate
through your DVD.
 Press the button
DIGEST during playbeck. You can invoke the DIGEST
menu using the following options (BOOKMARK DIGEST only if book-
marks have already been set , see below):

NOTICE!
You can move between the image and text entries in the menu using the navigation keys. The
active points are highlighted. To select an item press
ENTER.
 Confirm Title Digest with
ENTER. After a brief pause while the images are loading, the screen dis-
plays the initial screens of all titles contained on the DVD. Up to six images are shown at a time.
The full titles are displayed under the Select menu item.
 Select a title by using the navigation buttons to select a start image or enter the number of the start
image using the numbered buttons on the remote control (place 0 before single-digit numbers).
 The press
ENTER to play the selected title.
Use the
SKIP buttons and to navigate through the screen pages. Select EXIT to return to the
original position and play. You can return to the Digest menu with Menu .
List of chapters
 Select the Chapter Digest option from the digest menu and confirm with ENTER. After a short
pause where the images imformation is loaded, all chapters of the current title are displayed as
thumbnails and brief sections of the tracks are played. Up to six chapters are displayed at a time.
 Select the chapter in the same manner as you selected the title (see above).
Time interval.
 Select the Title interval option from the digest menu and confirm with ENTER. A preview of the
scenes within the title will be played for a default interval of 10 minutes If only one image is dis-
played, the title is shorter than 10 minutes.
Chapter interval
 Select the Chapter interval option from the digest menu and confirm with ENTER. A preview of
the scenes within the chapter will be played for a default interval of 10 minutes If only one image is
displayed, the chapter is shorter than 10 minutes.
NOTICE!
If you press
DIGESTin the STOP mode the gigest menu will appear with the entry Title Di-
gest and possibly also Bookmark Digest.
Marker overview
Any previously set bookmarks will be listed under this menu item (see previous section). You can select
the bookmarks from here.
