providesablockinfrontofthetrigger
mechanismthatpreventsring.Whenthe
shootergripsthepistolrmly,thissafety
featuredisengagesandceasestopresent
abarriertoring.However,disengagement
ofthisfeaturehasnobearingontheother
safetyfeatures.Inorderforthepistoltore,
thethumbsafetymustalsobedisengaged.
Thethumbsafety(2) canbeengaged
anddisengagedwhenthehammer(1)
isinthecockedposition.However,when
thehammerisintheforwardposition,
thethumbsafetycannotbeengagedor
disengaged.
