Step 1: Place the HDS4.1 into the Setup Mode
Press and hold the Power Button for 4 secs.
The standby LED will blink wildly, and the
selection LEDs will start sequencing to the
right.
Step 2: Select “Front Panel Intensity” option

After ‘4’ is pressed, the standby LED con-
tinues to flash, and the front panel will
display the current intensity setting.
Step 3: Adjust front panel intensities

Adjusting the Front Panel Intensity

lighting conditions.

Step 1: Enter the Setup Mode
Th e HDS4.1 is p l a c e d i nto the setup mod e by p ress i n g and
holding the Power bu t ton for abo u t 4 seconds.
Step 2: Select the Front Panel Intensity option
Press the ‘4 ’ but ton to s e l e ct “Fro nt Panel Intensit y ” o p t ion.
Th e front panel selec tion LEDs n ow i n d i cate the front panel
inte nsity s e t t ings:
If ‘1 ’ i s lit, then th e D IM level is being a d j u s ted.
If ‘2 ’ i s lit, then th e B RIGHT level being a d j u s ted.
‘3’ a n d ‘4’ are always lit.
Step 3: Adjust Front Panel Intensities
Use the ‘ 1 ’ and ‘2’ buttons to s w i tc h b e tween the DIM a n d
BRIGHT settin g s.
Use the ‘ 3 ’ but ton to d e c reas e t h e intensity o f t h e front
panel lights.
Use the ‘ 4 ’ but ton to i n c reas e t h e intensity o f t h e front
panel lights.
Yo u cannot make t h e DIM level brighter th a n t he BRIGHT
leve l, and you cannot make t h e BRIGHT level dimme r t h an
the DIM level.
Once the front panel intensitie s a re a cceptab l e, press the
Powe r button to save the new setti n g s and exit the s e t up
mode.
Note: Th e new intensity sett i n g s are saved in n o n - volatile
memor y and are not affec ted by a power f a i l u re.
