Controlling the Front Panel Lights
There are four dif fe rent f ront p anel lig htin g mo des availa ble on t he
HDMI 5. They are:
Front pane l li ghts auto matic ally fad e fro m br ight to d im
af ter 4 seco nds of i nac tiv ity.
Front pane l li ghts are a lways at th e br ight leve l.
Front pane l li ghts are a lways at th e di m le vel.
Front pane l li ghts are t urn ed o ff.
Note: Th e int ensi ties of the both the bri ght and dim levels can be
adju sted as we ll. This is e xpla ined on the nex t p age.

Step 1: Enter the Setup Mode
The H DMI5 is place d in to th e se tup mode by p re ssin g an d
hold ing the Power butto n for abou t 4 secon ds.
Step 2: Select the Lighting Mode option
Pres s th e 3 bu t ton to se lec t t he Lig htin g M ode o ptio n.
The f ront p anel sel ec tion LED s now ind icate the cur rently
sele cte d li ght m ode as fo llows:
If 1 s b lue LED is l it, then front pan el l ights are always off.
If 2 s b lue LED is l it, then front pan el i s al ways di m.
If 3 s b lue LED is l it, then front pan el i s al ways br ight .
If 4 s b lue LED is l it, then front pan el l ights auto -f ade from
bri ght to dim af ter 4 se conds of inac ti vit y.
Step 3: Choose a new lighting mode
Choo se a new lig ht co ntrol mode by p re ssin g th e as soci -
ated sele cti on b utto n.
Pres s th e Powe r Bu tton to s ave the new mod e an d ret urn to
nor mal operat ions.
Note: The l ighti ng m ode sett ing is s aved in non- vo latil e me m-
or y a nd i s no t af fe ct ed by a power fai lure.

Step 1: Place the HDMI5 into the Setup Mode
Press and hold the Power Button until the
display goes wild. (About 4 seconds.)
Step 2: Select “Lighting Mode” option

After ‘3’ is pressed, the standby
LED continues to flash, and the
front panel will display the cur-
rent Light Mode settings.
Step 3: Choose a new lighting mode

Auto-Fade
Always Bright
Always Dim
Always Off
Exit Setup Mode
