If the LEDs do not sequ ence, and the IR L ED d oes not flas h, w hen a

butto n is pres sed on t he rem ote, t hen the HDMI 5 do es n ot reco gnize

the IR co de b eing sen t. M ake sure the remote 's b atter ies are fre sh.

The H DMI5 wil l wor k wi th m ost remote s, however the re are a few

excepti ons. S ome tech nica l rea sons for n ot wo rk ing wit h so me re -

motes are: Th e rem o te m ay be usi n g a car rie r freq uenc y out side the

range of the HDMI 5 (3 4KH z to 42K Hz ), o r it may b e us ing one of t he

fe w pro tocols the HDM I5 d oes not unde rsta nd, l ike the Phili p' s RC 5

and RC6 protoco ls.

If the HDMI 5 do es n ot l ear n th e rem ote co des yo u are usi ng, you

Skipping or Deleting IR codes

Dur ing the IR l earn ing proces s you can choo se t o de lete the curre nt

code (dis able IR fo r th at f unc tio n) o r sk ip the cur rent code (leave it

unch ange d) by pres sing the 'A 1 ' o r 'A 2 bu tton s:

'A1 ' Di sabl e IR for c urre nt fu nc tion .

'A2 ' Sk i p cu rrent code, leave i t un chan ged.

The IR LED will ﬂash...

...and the LEDs will sequence each time a

remote control button is pressed if the IR

code is compatible with the HDMI5.
