Input Cable Length Tuning
The H DMI5 featu re s rece iver e qual izat ion that can be u sed to co m-
pens ate for the los ses that occur in var yi ng l engt h, a nd v ar yin g
qual ity, cab les.
The H DMI5 all ows for 15 l evels of equa lizat ion. Usin g hi gh q uali ty
DVI or D VI to HDM I conver sion cab les, t he H DMI5 can com pens ate
fo r c able s of up to 65 feet (20 mete rs), on all its inpu ts a nd s till
relia bly re ceive a st able, spar k le f ree i mage at 1 080p. Lon ger cabl e
leng ths can be a chie ved at lower resol utio ns.

Step 1: Place the HDMI5 into the Cable Length Adj. Mode

until the HDM I5 e nters the Cabl e Leng th Adj. Mo de.
Step 2: Enter the Cable Length Adj. Mode
Use t he 'A1' a nd 'A2' butto ns to tun e ca ble leng th.
'A1 ' ad just s for shor t er c able s.
'A2 ' ad just s for long er c able s.
'SEL' swi tches to Band widt h se ttin gs ( See nex t p age) .

Use t he Power Tog gle butto n to exit the set up m ode.

Press and hold the desired channel until
the HDMI5 enters the cable length tuning
mode.
