Changing Switching Delays
The H DMI5 all ows ad just ing the its "Mute Del ay" t imes, for Video
and Au dio, in depe ndent ly. The "Mute De lay" is t he a mount of time
the HDMI 5 mu tes t he o utpu t wh en s witch ing inpu ts. Fo r in stan ce a
"Mute Del ay" o f 10 0ms caus es t he s witch to m ute i ts o utpu t 10 0ms
before switc hing to t he n ew i nput . B y de faul t th e HD MI5 uses a
200m s vi deo and audi o de lay w hen switc hing bet ween cha nnel s.

Step 1: Place the HDMI5 into the Setup Mode
The H DMI5 is place d in to th e se tup mode by p re ssin g an d
hold ing the Power butto n for abou t 4 secon ds.
Step 2: Enter the Switching Delay Setup Mode
Pres s th e '5 ' bu tton to e nter t he D elay Set up M ode.
The b lue LEDs ind icate the vid eo m ute d elay time, if t here
are n o bl ue L EDs lit, the n th ere is no vide o de lay.
The re d LE Ds i ndic ate th e au dio mute delay tim e, if there
are n o red LEDs lit , th en t here is n o au dio delay.

Step 3: Adjust Switching Delay Times
The ' SEL' butto n to ggle s be tween the vid eo a nd a udio del ay
sett ings.
The 'A1' a nd 'A2' butto ns a re use d to set the del ay tim es.

Step 2: Enter the Switching Delay Setup Mode.

LED continues to flash, and the
front panel will display the cur-
rent delay settings.
