Troubleshooting
Remedy
1. Turn the printer off by holding the POWER button down for 5 seconds. Wait for the printer to shut down
completely. Wait a few minutes for coolingand turn the printer ON.
2. Replace the printhead if restarting and cooling have not corrected this issue.
3. Call a service technician if the printer does not recover from this error. This is not anoperator
serviceable item.
Alert: Out Of Memory
Condition
The printer can not store data in the printer in the specified memory location. There are four types of
storage memory: Graphic, Format, Bitmap, and Font. There is not enough memory to perform the function
specified on the second line of the error message.
Cause: Not Enough Memoryto Store a File
There is not enough memory to perform the function on the specified file type.
Remedy: Free Up Memory

1. Free up some of the printer’s memory by adjusting the label format or printer parameters to make the
print area smaller.
2. Remove unused graphics, fonts, or formats.
3. Ensure that the data is not directed to a device that is not installed or is unavailable.
Resolving Print Issues

Issue: General Print Quality Issues
Condition
The printed image does not look right.
Cause: Darkness and Speed Settings Need to be Adjusted
The printer is set at an incorrect darkness level and/or print speed for your media.
Remedy: Run Print Quality Report
Internal Printer Support
Perform the Print Quality Report (FEED self-test) to determine the ideal darkness and speed settings for
your application. Do not set print speeds above the manufacturer’s maximum rated speed for your media
