2.2.17 name
Sets the name for the WS5000 Series Switch. The command prompt in the CLI is updated with the new name.
Syntax
name <new_name>

2.2.18 password
Changes the customer password for the CLI Service Mode. The default password is password.
Syntax
password <actual password>
Parameters

SM-WS5000> password

Confirm the new password : ********

2.2.19 ping
Sends ICMP ECHO_REQUEST packets to a network host.
Syntax
ping [-Rdfnqrv] [-c count] [-i wait] [-l preload] [-p pattern]
[-s packetsize] <host/IP_address>
<new_name> The name for the switch (32 characters) . To enter new name with a multiple string, use
the format: "string1 string2"
actual_password The CLI Service Mode password is 6 to 25 alphanumeric characters (underscores and
dashes are valid).
