Determining the Active Print Server

Select the Primary Network Device (ZM400, ZM600, RZ400, and RZ600 only)
The ZM400, ZM600, RZ400, and RZ600 printers support the simultaneous installation of an
internal, external, and a wireless print server. Even though all three print servers may be
installed, only one is connected to the network and is the active print server. Table 6 outlines
priorities and identifies which device becomes the active print server when multiple print
servers are installed.
You can select whether the wired or wireless print server will be the primary connection using
one of the following:
•the PRIMARY NETWORK parameter on the control panel (see Table 11, Wireless
Parameters for V53.15.x and R53.16.x Firmware (ZM400, ZM600, RZ400, and RZ600
Printers) on page 50)
•the ^NC ZPL command (see ^NC on page 96)
the Primary/Secondary settings web page (see Primary/Secondary Settings on page 73)
