When the battery is first installed, the Power and Error LEDs illuminate for approximately
two seconds and then go off. If these lights do not go on, the battery is not fully charged.
1. Refer to Figure 2-3. Slide open the battery compartment door.
2. Insert the battery into the printer with the battery contacts facing up.
3. After the battery is completely inserted, close the battery compartment by sliding
the battery compartment door down.
