Appendix L – Specifications
Black Mark Position
The vertical position of a Black Mark is dependent on the application program that will be used to search for
and print relative to the mark. The following diagram shows the optimum position when seeking the Black
Mark at the beginning of a print job and will require little, if any, reverse paper motion.
The Black Mark must be printed on the front side of the paper for the DP-550. It may optionally be printed on
the back side of the paper for use with the DP-550LP models

Gap Sensing Specifications
Gap Sensing is only available for DP-550LP models. The minimum gap between labels is 0.125” (3.2mm).
