Appendix H – Mobile Setup Utility
This utility should be part of your Developer’s CD. It can also be obtained by contacting Dascom Technical
Support.
How to use:
First, you must configure your communication parameters by clicking the 'Help and Options' button.
Navigate using the arrow keys (on a keyboard), or the directional-pad (on a Windows Mobile Device).
Most settings can be incremented or decremented using the Left and Right keys.
Some settings require a line of text, which can be entered in by pressing the Enter (keyboard) or Center (D-pad)
key. When you are done typing, hit the Enter key again.
You can return to the main menu by pressing the Escape (keyboard) key.
NOTE:
If Dascom printer driver is used for TCP/IP printing, it may block access to the TCP socket. Please set the
printer driver as "Use Printer Offline" in the Windows printer list. This will open the socket and allow Mobile
Setup to connect to the printer.
