Connecting the Printer to the Computer

Parallel Port
The required cable must have a twenty-five pin “D” type (DB-25P) male connector and a
“Centronics” on the printer connector (IEEE 1284 A-C parallel interface specification).
Tighten the cable connector’s screw locks to secure the cable to the printer and computer.
Note • The printer design does not allow for the use non-molded cables such as hand-made
cables with clam shell connector covers.
