&L Command - Read Single Track
Description Reads data for a single track from a magnetic card.
Syntax &Lp1
Parameters p1 = Track Number.
1 = Track 1 Decimal data per following table
2 = Track 2 Decimal data per following table
3 = Track 3 Decimal data per following table
Note: p1 values of 11, 12, and 13, require a preced
-
ing space.
11= Track 1 Hexadecimal data
12= Track 2 Hexadecimal data
13= Track 3 Hexadecimal data

The actual data encoded on to the card is converted
automatically from an ISO track’s specified encod

ing format to ASCII. See Appendix C for default
ANSI/ISO data formats and custom data encoding
commands.
