3. Install the CPU board
Hook the back edge of the CPU board into the slots on the two spacers molded into
the Lower Cover assembly, then rotate the front edge past the snap feature on the
Lower Cover Assembly. Secure the CPU board to the Lower Chassis Assembly with
(2) M3 x 10mm Self-Tapping Screws.
4. Set the Symbol Compatibility Switch
Use a small (jeweler’s size) slotted-head screwdriver.
If PCC digit 10 = 0, set SW4 to the “Standard” setting by turning the switch
counterclockwise until it stops in the position shown below (about 3/4 turn).
If PCC digit 10 = S, set SW4 to the “Comtec” setting by turning the switch clockwise
until it stops in the position shown below (about 3/4 turn).
