Set Dots/Millimeter
Use the ^JM (Set Dots/Millimeter) instruction to change the number
of dots per millimeter. Depending on the print head, normal dots per
millimeter on a Zebra Printer is 12-dots/mm (304-dots/inch),
8-dots/mm (203-dots/inch) or 6-dots/mm (153-dots/inch). In some
applications, this high density is not required. For these applications, a
lower density of 4-dots/mm (102-dots/inch) or 3-dots/mm (77-
dots/inch) can be selected.
If used, this instruction must be entered before the first ^FS
instruction.
The format for the ^JM instruction is:
^JMn
where
^JM = Set Dots per Millimeter
n =
Default value: A = 12 dots/mm, 8 dots/mm or 6 dots/mm
Other value: B = 6 dots/mm, 4 dots/mm or 3 dots/mm
